About

oh, and I love a nice glass of red wine…or two

Hi, I’m Julia, some friends call me Jules.

I’m a writer, nature lover, friend, daughter, sister, runner, dancer, yogini, traveller, coffee-addict, dreamer, and blogger. But most of all I’m a human being. And it is experiences as such a human being, which I’m writing about in here…some are funny, some are weird, some are sad and all of them are true.

I have a language degree from Vienna University in Anglophone Studies with a focus on cultural studies, and a further education diploma from Goethe Institute for Methodology & Didactics of teaching German as a foreign language. Having worked in various different fields in the past years, ranging from an international NGO in the addiction treatment field, to bar manager in Peru to teaching German as a foreign language in Austria as well as abroad, I still find myself coming back to my passion for writing.

As someone who does not take herself too seriously I hope you won’t either! This world needs more humor, more laughs, and more light-hearted topics. This is not to say that they don’t have profound seriousness at the core, but I try to look at things from a bright perspective as much as possible.

writing & coffee make me happy

I adore great writers who pour their hearts onto paper, admire musicians who touch millions of hearts, and have great respect for entertainers and activists who stand in for their beliefs. I, for myself, believe in creating a better world for oneself.

Your vision eventually becomes your reality.
