It meant waking up in a lightless, airless tiny cabin, which was cozy, but nothing compared to waking up to a summer breeze, birds chirping, or even to the light tip, tip, tap of rain against the window sill..<br \/>\nSo whenever I had the chance to walk out and smell nature, be dazzled by all the colors the trees don in fall, hear my footsteps crunch the brown leaves underneath, I did. And I can&#8217;t even begin to describe how much better it made me feel. I honestly believe, or I know at least for myself, that simply being outside, seeing, breathing, and feeling nature heals. Whether I feel a bit depressed, rejected, unloved or simply do not understand what&#8217;s going on in my life, spending time in nature makes it better.
